does auto-posting get accounts banned?
reddit treats it as spam or content manipulation, and when an automated account is banned every comment it ever posted goes with it. 404 media reported in april 2025 that most of the accounts replyguy showcased had been banned, and replyguy's original founders sold the company in september 2024.
